For plumbing companies
Plumber partner FAQ
Straight answers for plumbing companies. HyrePlumber has no companies signed up and matching is not live, so we quote no volume and charge nothing. Pricing, exclusivity and delivery speed are not decided, and we say so. We take no cut of the job.

Who and where
Is matching live today?
No. No plumbing companies are signed up, and HyrePlumber has not sent an inquiry to anyone. Registering puts your business on the list for when matching is live in your area.
Who can register?
Registered plumbing businesses that hold whatever license their work requires where they operate, carry general liability coverage, and carry workers’ compensation where they employ people.
My plumbing license is held by a person, not the company. Can I register?
Yes. In some states the license belongs to a person. Wisconsin, for example, issues plumbing licenses only to individuals, and Pennsylvania has no statewide plumbing license at all. Tell us what applies: the master plumber in charge, the city license or the state one.
What kinds of inquiries will there be?
Emergencies, leaks, drains, water heaters, toilets and fixtures, sewer lines, repiping, water treatment, sump pumps and gas lines. Those are the choices on the homeowner form. You choose which you want.
Can I decline gas, sewer or commercial work?
We intend to let you. The registration form lists the services you offer and asks which work you decline, and the homeowner form asks what the job is, so an introduction can match the job and not just the word “plumbing”.
Which areas do you cover?
The United States, but demand will be uneven and follow where homeowners find our guides. We will not tell you there is volume in your market before there is.
Is HyrePlumber a competitor?
No. HyrePlumber does not perform, supervise, warrant or finance plumbing work, and has no plumbers, vans or dispatch. We publish information for homeowners and intend to make introductions.
Cost and terms
How much will inquiries cost?
Not decided yet. The pricing model and price are not set, including whether a sewer inquiry and a toilet inquiry would be priced alike. Registering now costs nothing and is not a purchase.
Are inquiries exclusive?
Not decided yet. Whether an inquiry goes to one company or several, and whether any area is protected, are open terms. No exclusivity has been promised to anyone.
How quickly will inquiries arrive?
Not decided yet. No delivery-time commitment has been set.
What happens if an inquiry is invalid?
Not decided yet. What counts as invalid, and how a credit or dispute is handled, is still being defined. We intend to hear why an inquiry was wrong: out of area, wrong service, a duplicate or unreachable.
Can I pause inquiries when I am full?
We intend to let you. A company that is booked solid should be able to stop the tap. How pausing works depends on the terms that are still being decided. Today, ask and your registration is paused or removed.
Does HyrePlumber take a cut of the job?
No. We are not a party to your contract with the homeowner and take no percentage of the work. Whatever the pricing turns out to be, it will be for the introduction, not the job.
Can I pay to be ranked, featured or profiled?
No. We publish no company profiles, ratings or rankings, and carry no advertising, so there is no position to buy. Any commercial arrangement will be disclosed and kept out of the guides.
Do you guarantee an inquiry becomes a customer?
No, and nobody honestly can. We do not promise inquiry volume, conversion rates or revenue. What happens after an introduction is your diagnosis, your quote and the homeowner’s decision.
Inquiries and data
How will inquiries be matched?
On the zip code and the job the homeowner chose, against the areas, services and declined work you told us about. We will not widen your radius to make volume.
What will an inquiry contain?
Zip code, the job, how soon, whether they own, rent or manage the home, and the homeowner’s own description, plus name and email, and a phone number or street address where the homeowner chose to give one. Both are optional.
Will you send me emergency calls?
Not as a dispatch service. We tell a homeowner with running water to shut the main valve and call a local plumber directly, and anyone who smells gas to leave and call 911 and the utility. How urgent inquiries will be handled is not decided.
Will you call my company “trusted” or “vetted”?
No. We do not use those words about anyone, because they promise a level of checking we have not earned. When a check is done, we will name the check and its date. See how plumbing companies will be checked.
How is homeowner data handled?
Details go to a company only with the homeowner’s agreement, and only to answer that inquiry. Partners may not resell them, add them to unrelated marketing or pass them on. See our privacy policy.
How do I update my business information?
Email hello@hyreplumber.com. Licenses lapse and renew, service areas change and vans come and go, so we would rather hear from you than keep a stale record.
Still worth a conversation?
Register your interest, or email hello@hyreplumber.com. Tell us where you work and which work you want. How introductions will work covers the steps, and the lead quality standard sets the rules.
